I may be busy, but I couldn't not have at least one entry for 
's annual Obscuri-Jam!
Captain Syrup has been the main antagonist for two of Wario's adventures and a somewhat-ally in another, but I think she deserves to be in a lot more games -- and I'm not just saying that because she's hot. Here, I tried my best to draw her in the style of typical 2D art made for the Super Mario franchise. Not the first time I've done something in this style... and it may not be the last, either. There are other obscure baddies I might draw this way.

I always had this headcanon that she was Pauline after Mario left Brooklyn for the Mushroom Kingdom. I mean, I know she's not, but it's fun to think about.
