Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel.  Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind).  So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me?  Pantser?  I think?  But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid.  And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly.  And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

Extra info: From what I've heard,  Genndy Tartakovski is working to give the show's rights to Sony, much like what he's doing with Samurai Jack, and wrap up the series with 16-18 more episodes (which includes 2 movies and the 10 unproduced scripts).

I heard the news of Titan returning but didn't knew Genndy's buying the rights and sell them to sony so they can finish both series which it's good, Samurai Jack can do it with a movie or at least 2 but with Titan aside of some episodes an movie will wrap up nicely, this is why i'm hoping Hotel Transylvania will do well so Genndy can make stuff of his own not to mention watching his 2 classic shows have a decent ending.

Yeah, Sony's treating him a lot better than CN did. It warms my heart to see that he's got nicer people to work for.

I'm hoping HT will do well, too. The animation it has alone will be worth watching. So lively and exaggerated... Oh, and ever thought of drawing Mavis yet?

Yup, hope they work it out well since lets be honest, CN hasn't used any of their old cartoons so why leave them accumulating dust?

Her design is interesting(even tho she's voiced by Selena Gomez.....god help us) tho if i draw her it will be too sexy lol but i might give it a try especially since Halloween is coming.

I don't mind her as much as others. I honestly don't give a care about celebrities or why I should hate them (mostly because it's often for trivial reasons like them making bad entertainment). I try to stay out of those messes. That being said, this movie's voice cast is BEGGING for people to hate it. I'm worried for its success, but it could be a good chance for those actors to get some more respect if it's a hit.
