Nicktoons Calender Pic 7

came up with this calender pic idea that took me a LONG while to get finished, mostly due to how much I had to draw.

The gist of this is that all these superheroes showed up for a special signing event at Oz Comics in Fanboy's town (Galaxy Hills).

I was specifically asked to draw Mermaidman, Barnacleboy, the Crimson Chin, and Man-Arctica as the heroes there. So... I did. It was actually my first time drawing all four of them. I had a hard time finding the right way to draw the usually-CGI Man-Arctica. Luckily, the blog for the show's production company, Frederator, posted a few props that had hand-drawn renditions of him on them. So, I used mostly those as reference. The Crimson Chin was just as hard, since I had to get all of the ink shadows right. I basically took up all the time on the characters and sort of half-A'd the background of Oz Comics -- but only color wise. I still did research for what it should look like, which is something the Frederator blog came in handy for again.

As a closing note, this was another one of the three requests from my pre-commission days I finally finished up. The last one should be done at any time...
