Commission: MST3K's OddGoblins

found out an interesting tidbit that led to this commission...

Daran Norris, the voice actor for The Fairly OddParents' Cosmo (as well as many other characters in Butch Hartman's works) had a rough start to his career as a live actor, back in the 80's. How rough? What was probably one of his first roles was in a movie that was lousy enough to be riffed on by the cast of Mystery Science Theater 3000. "Hobgoblins," to be exact. Daran played a creepy MC at a night club.

That little bit of info sparked the idea of this entire commission: If Daran was that MC and later became Cosmo, what would it be like if Cosmo played the MC? Danny Phantom's Jazz was put in as a replacement for the slutty entranced girl dancing on stage during this scene. Mike Nelson and the bots, slightly Hartman-ized, at the bottom of the screen were my idea, so I didn't charge extra for them, partly because they're just silhouettes. Their poses are actually based on a moment from that very episode where they watched this film!

*singing* OddGoblins... OddGoblins... What can you do about those OddGoblins...
